Jewelry is one of the most personal forms of art you can own. Important pieces of jewelry like engagement rings, wedding bands, heirlooms, and pieces to commemorate loved ones or special occasions become a part of our lives. We wear them on our skin, we fidget with them throughout the day, and we wear them often enough that they become a symbol of who we are and what we hold dear.
Our clients don’t want ordinary. They work collaboratively with us to create unique pieces, often featuring unusual stones, with quality craftsmanship. They want their jewelry to tell a story about them, their lives, their loved ones, and more. We look forward to working with you to create a piece of jewelry that uniquely embodies your story.

Custom Process
We are selective about the custom projects we take on to ensure we can give each piece the attention and craftsmanship it deserves. Working with us begins with a consultation where we get to know you, your vision, and your story. After our meeting, we'll add you to our custom work waitlist. If we determine that your project is a great fit for our skills and aesthetic, and we have the capacity to take on your piece, we'll reach out to collect your deposit and move you into our active work queue.
This selective approach allows us to maintain our high standards and ensures that every piece we create receives the dedicated attention needed to craft bespoke jewelry that you will love for years to come.
Start
Consultation and Waitlist
All design processes start with a complimentary consultation appointment so we can learn more about you and your project. Following this meeting, you'll be added to our custom work waitlist while we review your project against our current capacity and expertise. If your project is selected, we'll contact you to collect your design deposit and move forward.
Step 1
Project Selection and Deposit
Once we've reviewed all waitlisted projects, we'll contact selected clients to collect their design deposit and officially begin the design process. We consider factors like our current capacity, timeline requirements, and how well the project aligns with our artistic vision and expertise. The deposit is non-refundable but is applied to the final payment when you pick up your finished piece.
Step 2 (If Applicable)
Stone Sourcing
If your project features a center stone or other unique stones that we will be sourcing, we will often start with that stone sourcing process (more on that below).
If we are reusing your stones to create new pieces, we often need to unset those stones to get accurate measurements and check for pre-existing damage to the stones. We will ask your permission before we take this step, as putting the stones back into the original jewelry is not an option.
Step 3
Design Delivery
Once you have entered our work queue and paid a design deposit, the next step is for us to send you flat designs. These might be sketches created by hand or digitally, but they will give you an idea of design direction, scale, etc. Depending on what you are looking to create, we will send anywhere from 1 - 4 designs. From there we will discuss what appeals to you and leverage your feedback to provide updated designs before the final flat design is selected.
Step 4 (If Applicable)
3D Mockup
After we have a flat design selected, we then take that design to our CAD designer to create a 3D model of your design (if it is not being hand fabricated, that is). You will then be able to review that model for final approval. We can make small tweaks to ensure the design is just right, but any additional design or major design changes at this stage may incur an additional fee.
Step 5
Production
When the design is finalized and the total price is nailed down, we will invoice you for 50% of the cost of production, which you can pay via an emailed invoice or in person in our gallery. Once that final deposit is paid, your custom jewelry item goes into production with our caster and the physical creation process begins. After your design is cast, we then clean up that casting, do any hand fabrication work that the design may call for, set the stones, and then do the final polishing and finishing work.
Completion
Final Delivery
Once the work is all done, you will be notified that your item is ready for pickup or shipping. You will pay the final 50% (minus your design deposit) and receive your one-of-a-kind creation. If you would like to have an appraisal done in order to insure your jewelry, we can provide that as well free of charge.
